Therapies from the East & West

Hoya Alternative Medicine uses time-tested therapies from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western therapies to provide comprehensive treatments for a variety of conditions. Experience in treatment of orthopedic and neurological conditions includes 14 years of work in Occupational Therapy and, more recently, acupuncture, with specialized training in use of acupuncture to aid in recovery following stroke or spinal cord injury.

Services

Hoya Alternative Medicine provides acupuncture treatments as well as prescriptions for Chinese herbal medicine, cupping & moxabustion therapies. Sessions are generally 1 hour long, but shorter sessions at a reduced rate may be done for some return patients.
